Try Hara's set-up for the DHI cup... rubber tires on Carpet..can be found in the HPI website.

Lazy.....every pro-4 that I have seen run in the rubber tire class on carpet has had great success with the stock DHI setup in the manual.....its the Hara one that Zombies is talking about. The car works very well this way and is quite impressive.....give that one a try.

Is HPI

EVER going to relase suspension arms for the PRO 4 ??
seem's they pushed up the date again.


this is getting rediculious.

I mean are we going to have parts before the challenge ? What's the deal? This thing's been on the shelve for like 2 months now.
should have never wasted my money.

ok, what do you guys think about this? In other words, what am I missing? I know Im forgeting something cause I was shooting for $400 and I almost made it...

Pro 4 kit @Speedtech
PRP gear brace @PRP Racing
A-arms @Tower
Bevel gears @Tower
Block and hub set @Tower
Robinson Racing pinions @Tower 31T 32T 36T 37T 38T
Take Off CS37s or 32s @Speedtech
Protoform Nemesis @Tower

Total $408.25, not including shipping or paint for the body. Im taking Doug's word for it and going for the gear brace instead of a front diff, hope that works out. Actually it wasnt that hard of a decision since its cheaper and more suited to the track

Think about getting Ray Haung's BMI pro4... it's a bargain.and come with many spare parts...

I dont think the 37s will be necessary. I emailed Adrian from Schumacher and he said they always run 27s. I ran 32s last weekend and they worked great so I would stick with either the 27s or the 32s. The diff is a good thing for carpet if you are running foams.

37s not necessary? even on the hot asphault out there? Well that makes thigs a little easier I guess cause right now Speedtech is sold out of 37s hehe.

Zombies, I was just in that section, guess I'll have to go back and take a look

Ok I caved, that car is awesome, and it comes with way more spares than what i was going to buy. I'll miss not actually building the car myself but Im prolly gonna tear it all down anyway at some point. I really hope I get that thing I'll just call my list Plan B for now
