If someone found a spool let me know. I am using double diffs, with the front WAY tighter than the back, but I would rather have a spool.

Lazy - haha.. If there is just a straight away, gear it so it tops out at the banner before the booth ( novak banner i think? )

If the sweeper is after the straight away, I gear it so it tops out right as you make the turn into the sweeper. Now that it's summer, the motors will come off warmer than they have been, I don't think I'd be afraid to have it come off at 170 on the winds.

Default making my own

on the spool i was going to make my own because my friend at the track made his own for his xray because he did'nt like their's so i was goingto take all the balls out of the diff and tighten it all the way so far it worked really well for him so I think it should work good on the pro 4 just need to figure out what to change in my setup for it

I think the reason for the 'one-off' car by Myberg was to prove/disprove (test) facts and rumors about weight distribution and the effects it has on shaft'd vs belt'd cars .. and to get a car that 'felt good to him'..

my understanding was that he thought belted was the 'way to go'..

also his 'project/test' had nothing to do with the decision making and or developement of HPIs PRO4..

How were you able to read the entire article, with the pictures covering a lot of text?

don't think so...

it was a custom build by Andreas Myberg.. Made from different parts of different cars.. (Pro4 prototype, Pro3, TC3 and possibly others).. it has since been 'dis-assembled', according to the article..

Does anyone know if HPI will be attending the Roar On Road Nats in July? I was wondering if there will be any team support there for racers that are running the Pro 4?

Thanks for any info!

Jeff

I'm assuming Hara will be there since he's ROAR member.
