Default Spur Gears

Precision Racing Systems, Enough Said. Excellent spur gears and pinions. Use to think RW Spurs were awesome till I ran these, now there is no comparison. PRS all the way!

Zombies;

Between Tower and Horrizon I found a full set of the blocks (minus the 0.5 block).

Thanks,

Nope, my mistake. No 0.5 block (would be nice for the front).

I will have the full set sometime next week and this should give me more tuning options to dial the car in for my driving style. Still waiting on the spacer plates that go under the block though. Hopefully soon.

Thanks,
Steven

If theres no comparison, then those must be some pretty amazing spur gears! I would like to see one of those!

other than not hitting anything you'll probably have to go with a stainless steel cvd. aluminum is too weak for cvds if you ask me.

Default Bent CVD

Hey, i was running modified out here in San Anotnio and i have been racing for about four or five year and am a aldus design team driver(just needed to provide info. , this is my first post) i have probably had not to many hard hits and last weekend i smaked the wall and that one hit caused it to bend so you arent the only one.

p.s. the tc3's cvd's are the exact same thing if you need a quick replacement:

Actually if it's not bent too bad you should be able to straighten it. I do it all the time on my Nitro cars with Steel CVD's and they get bent pretty good in a major front hit. I chuck the bone in my Drill Press then tap the opposite side with a Rubber Mallet.

Aluminum CVD's usually wallow out the pin holes in the bones pretty quickly compared to their Steel counterparts. This is the tradeoff if you want less rotating mass in your drive-train.
