thanks rc zombies i just tried my car and those diffs were way too loose. i need to try that nut and screw from tc3.

So i just build them the same way as a tc3 diff? or a pro 4 diff with an addition to that nut and screw?

I built mine same way as the pro4 diff... and tightened it the same way as the tc3.. compress the spring and loosen 1/2 turn or so...

I have a strange noise on my car. Only when off-throttle! Sounds like a kid with a playing card in the spokes on his bike.
Gonna rip the back diff apart.

check the screw on the servo saver turnbuckle..if it's too low it will hit the drive cups..

Default My box for the pro4?

this is no big deal for me but id just like to ask.

i got my pro4 for about a month now but when i first got the car it never came with a box but everything in a clear bag with a factory seal, my shop told me that they were in a rush to ship or sth like that so the batch didnt come with boxes.

im just wondering if i can still get mine cuz its the best lookin box hpi has ever made and because i have the boxes for the pro pro2 pro3 but this one...

Drive cup on the front
of the main shaft, that comes out the
rear of the front diff.
I see NO marks to indicate this. I do have a wear mark on the main shaft, where it was rubbing on the ear on the servo.

the M6 handles great!!!
the NSX will not fit! the front shock towers are too high... even if cut them down...you'll have no shock travel...

i'd say someone with bmi chassis conversion butcher their original front shocktower and see if they can mount a nsx body!

hi guys
quick question...
aside from the difficulty in getting spares, what is your biggest beef with the Pro4? Or any other major problems?

zombies,

How are you running your diff? Did you put the spring and nut on the same side (i.e. opposite side from the thrust bearing)?

I'll have to try the parts this weekend, will let everyone know...
