Default 2-steps forward-one step back

Well-I put the 2.5 degree front arm sweep back in and had a lot more steering on carpet/foam tires. I also reduced rear droop and liked that too. I made a small mistake by turning down my dual rate and that hurt me as I had to not go quite as hard into the corners. For some reason on my Helios I cannot thumb up d/r while driving. Gotta practice that. I also felt the rear of the car was rolling way too much and so I put 1mm shims under the rear hingepin blocks and that seemed to free up the rear by letting it run flatter. Sounds opposite of theory-but it worked for me.

Also-why i went one step back is both diffs loosened on me again!!! SO I think that might have hurt my rip off the corners a tad.

I am still too slow, but car handled better than last week. Jimmy went even faster this time and posted 13.2 second laps with his Pro4.

hi to all,

got my pro4 yesterday, wonder what kind of gearing I should use on 19T class.
I am using Trinity base motor. and race on a really tight and technical track with lots of hairpin. out door parking lot surface.
would stock( that comes with the kit) pinion and spur combination work?

thanks

Front 2 degree block no 1 piston 70wt
Rear1.5 degree block no 1 piston 60w
oneway

How many different ways do you think a gear brace can be designed? Buy the PRP one if you want, I don't think anyone will mind.

OOOOOOOo

Some of those parts looks like RC square stuff!

But they are very nice

The price seems better with the HPI brace

Has anybody compared the 3mm chassis from HPI and the 3mm chassis from BMI. Is there a difference. I want to get a thicker chassis but not sure about the pro's and cons of these 2

Default Spares

Has anyone found a place to buy Arms, knuckles, hubs yet? Do we have to order from Japan? My first race is this weekend with my pro 4 and I'm not planning on finishing the day without being very conservative and having a little luck.

All of those look cool, but I admit they do look very much like other aftermarket parts, but there's only so many differences you can make I guess, it still has to fit on the same car!

One thing, does anyone know what these are?

The only thing I can think of is those things that go on the ends of the inboard suspension pins.
