That site will be sweet when David gets it going. I have been on his B4 website and it is better than most mfg sites!!

Erik..

After looking at pics of the the Tamiya Evo-IV...
Does HPI have any plans of releasing aluminum bulkheads? similar to the original Pro4 Prototype?

Frank, didnt mean that HPI's site does not rock. Its just that comparing Associated site and David's B4 site you will gain more setup help and tips on the B4 on David's site. Information wise his site is better than the mfg site is.

BTW, your coverage on the european HPI race was cool to read. Too bad we dont have tracks like that in the states!!!

Doug- I thought your post was dead on. I know the B4 site was the hub of all B4 activity. If you ran that buggy, it was the place to go to get great info and it looks cool. My guess much the same will take place with his Pro 4 site.

Does anyone have a setup for Sorex tires? I tryed the DHI setup with a diff in the front and....it was ok untill I really looked at how Hara had it setup. Looks like it was for High bite asphalt. I'm going to try the box setup and go from there this weekend. I'll post my findings next week. BTW we run on a dedicated asphalt track with pop sprayed down.

I ran this setup last weekend at Speedworld and car handled very well:

Oil: 40wt F / 35wt R
HPI #2 piston F/R
Springs:
14x25x1.5x5.5 front
14x25x1.5x5.75 rear
Sorex 36 with HPI blue inserts
second hole on F shock tower and same on rear.
Pivot blocks: 2.0 F / 2.5R
Camber: 1.5F/R
Ride Ht: 4.5F / 5.0R
Droop: 6F / 5L-6R
front one-way w/ Tamiya diff gear plate..waiting for PRP's
Hub spacers: 1.5F / .5R
Sway bars: 1.4F / 1.2R
Monster stock 98/35
could have have gone a tooth or 2 higher.
body.. Mazda 6...handled better than the new HPI Aero Stratus.
