Looking good, although I think it's a shame that HPI have decided to go for a horizontally split gear box, the vertically split one on the Yoke SSG SD seems to work very well for diff maintenence.

Horizontal split gear cases allow for more accurate retention of the drive axles and better meshing of the relevant gears.

but if everyone is just gonna shim and re-shim the diff assembly, then that feature is sorta mute...no?

It will probably be offered by HotBodies... but the molded graphite should hold up well...
