What bearings are you talking about? My two diff kits that I have both have bearings in them.

If you really torque it down hard enough it will strip... if you have small 2mm washers..it will help distrubute the load..and the screw will not dig into the diff... also apply a little of the blue loktite on the threads...

Hi all

I raced my pro4 last weekend for Mod onroad rubber tire race and I had a lot of glitches that day especially when I tried to go full throttle. anyone have the same problem ?
and another thing have any one have a setup for mid traction rubber tire. I looked through the forum and found one but It didn't state if it was high traction or low traction and I'm just wondering if any one have one.. I'm just trying to figure out the set up for the track..
and also have any one tried to run the pro4 with a high roll center to add more traction?

thanks

EvilDriver, I have ran on a slick concrete outdoor track and on a mid to high bite concrete track and the stock setup has worked awesome on both tracks. For the outdoor track I did drop to 40wt oil and raised the ride height to 5mm front and 5.5 rear but that was all it took. Oh, also moved the rear shock to the next to outside hole because the shock bottom was hitting the wheel.

Now on the indoor track I lowered the ride height to 4.5mm front and 5mm rear, went to 50wt oil.

I could be wrong but with the stock shims I would say the stock setup is almost a mid to high roll center versus no shims being low roll center.

I too experienced some glitches but once I added a couple layers of servo tape between the chassis and the receiver and also ran the receiver wire through some fuel tubing from the receiver to the antenna mast to keep the wire from directly touching the chassis I did not experience any more glitches.

Hope this helps.

The Manual shows plastic spacers (73512) under the the Battery Strap screws (Z305).
If you omit the plastic spacers and tighten the screws all the way down, GP3300's in a side x side configuration fit nice and snug.

Thanks Popsracer. I will try that although I like the weight loss on the battery side. Taping does get old though.

You're right...taping does get old... I have several instances when new strapping tape have broken during a race. with the molded battery strap I have piece of mind that batteries will not fall out or hit the drive shaft... hope to get the aluminum one as soon as it's back in stock at RcModel...
