They were running purples all the way around. You can't do that on carpet. Plaids or double purples up front.

Cant do that at the Indoor Champs especially.......gobs of traction there........I either run the plaids and purple or I run TRC Lime fronts and Tan in the rear. That is an excellent combo too for tracks that you dont seem to have enough steering.

Does anyone know the HPI part number for the Pro 4 kit? A couple guys at my LHS are looking to order them and get in on the backorder list from the distributor, but nobody seems to know a part number yet???

Thanks in advance for any help

I think I might turn in my X-ray for a Pro4.

As regards to the part number, we've known that for quite a while now, I think it's HP185 but you'd better double check that on www.hpi-europe.com

I doubt it would be possible for HPI do design a car that isn't better then the pro 3, they'd have to be trying to make it suck.

IMO The Pro 3 is a very good car, with some very good concepts (short CVD bones and central batteries + motor) but all it needed was a few hopups to get it going.

The Pro 4 should be better, as far as the speed of the thing goes, I expect the Pro 4 to have more acceleration, more top speed, and more runtime than the Pro 3, all because of the shaft driven transmission.

As for handling, I would have thought it would handle quite well, although I'm not a big fan of having all of the batteries down one side, I will be getting the Pro 4.

Hara registered for the Halloween classic? Thatís news to me. Yeah, we plan on getting some practice on carpet before Cleveland. I would have been worried if you didnít beat me... I never finished a complete round of qualifying and my speed control stopped working in my main I had a great time
