Default Front shock tower

Heres a pic of the front shock tower. Check out how the color goes so well with the Purple.

Ray, what's the difference between the stock towers and the BMI, other than color? Are they lower or?

clinttredway,
No difference. Both are 3mm but the quality of the BMI are unreal.

Hey JOhn,

I need some ideas for a front bumper. The stock set-up is NOT going to cut-it at all. Does Evanichko have a bumper for the car yet?

I was thinking following Jr's approach and grafting in a BRP TC3 Bumper for now. I will also see tonight if I can make an RPM bumper fit somehow. Basically elinate the whole HPI front bumper assembly.

Clinttredway-Well-its like Jo hnsaid-but one thing I did was I took the stock tower-cut off the outside hole and shaved it down a ton on top in case I want to slam a body down!!

I talked to BMI yesterday and they will have more chassis in 2 weeks. They are waiting on material to come in.

I just cut some kydex to fit mine...you'll have to file flat the original bumper tops to sit correctly....

the whole HPI front bumper can be eliminate complete and bolt up your own... I am going to make one out of scrap CF.

Available in about two weeks-He got so busy he ran out of c/f and has had an order in for a week. Mychassis is actually a piece of Blem c/f. Cost is $109.00 for the Black and $119.00 for the colors-give or take a buck. I dont think he is doing this one in anything but black and Titanium though.

He tried to find Purple-but no luck.

Kevin made a few. First one is pretty good but still not wide enough. The second one is awesome but the material that he had to use is pretty poor. No fault of his just trying different materials. I'll see if he has any of the first ones laying around. We'll be at the gate the 18th and hook ya up. Run the car yet?
