You are all right-on-on the shocks-EASY!! I took the black bobbin out though as I dont see the need in Carpet racing. That foam bobbins not gonna make a difference with a 35# spring on it...

or is there another reason its in there?

I always assume thats a rubber tire, soft oil and spring thing.

without the bobbin the bladder will colapse giving the shock unpropotional dampening...

Well my new Pro4 is built and ready to run tommorrow. Built very nice and easy to. I can't believe how free the transmission is compared to my TC3. I didn't have to file, grind, clean bearings and so on to get it to be free. It is already super free and I didn't even run it yet.

Next week I will have my Titanium BMI chassis on it so I will be able to see what the differance is.

If it happens once, shame on them.. if it happens twice, shame on you.

How bad is the tweak? I'm assuming it just a minor thing and that you probably wouldn't even realize there was a "problem" if you just ran the car.

I'm starting to wonder if people are making this tweak thing sound like it's a huge deal when it's nothing really?

..a slight rock in the chasis.. means even if I drive my best I'm going to lose??

Doesn't anyone have fun anymore?

not when you spend 300 bucks on a kit... should be perfect out of the box.

It probably is... that's my point. I'd be willing to bet that when he get's the new top deck the same problem will occur.

No, I wouldn't. Then having someone who doesn't even have the car come on and make smartass comments wouldn't help...

He's having problems with a kit, some kid says he should lighten up, i say it's an expensive kit and he has reason to be upset.

What's the problem?

If you want to crack down on people commenting on threads where they don't own the car, please do so. You'd have to delete half the threads in the cuda forum.

*edit* sorry, he's not a kid he's my age. you're the kid. 10 years younger!

Pro 4 is expensive relative to?

Pro 4 is cheap compared to surikarn and 415...

It all depends which way you look at it.

I don't think you'd like it if we start bashing the R2 for something silly...

This problem can happen to anyone... it's known as manfacture defect... no one is perfect but HPI is trying hard with it's new line of kits so we shouldn't put them down...

First off, I'm not a kid.

I'm also not saying he should "lighten up".. I'm saying he sees a problem where there probably isn't.

He's heard about the "tweak problem" on this forum, then he builds his kit and there's a rock in the chasis that you couldn't fit a mouse fart through and he's wanting HPI to "fix" his kit.

All I'm getting at is that he should run his car... if he's having problems... then contact HPI to say his car is bad.

I can hear it already.. "I keep hitting the boards... my car is tweaked!.. send me a replacement part.. so I can contact you next week and let you know that it didn't fix the problem."
