A front spool would be cool, wouldn't it?

The stock setup worked pretty well on a tight, indoor asphalt with Sorex 36R tires. Go back a few pages, there was a few setups posted....

j/k tony....

Try replacing your ball cups with either Dubro ends, or ends like the one that is on the bell cranks.

Hey guys,

How true is the driveshaft on this car (center driveshaft)? MInes got quite a bit of runout in it. Enough that its easy to see.

If thats normal-cool deal.

this might be not be the right place for this, but since it's pro 4 related i figured it should go here..i've taken a pro 4 and converted it to off road...my question is i'm running a 13X2 with a 75 tooth 48 pitch spur...what would be a good starting point pinion wise?

Mine wobbles, not terribly, but enough for me to notice when I spin the car on the bench. I've noticed NO ill effects when running the car.

Ray....To me it does not look any worse then what the average TC3 has. I dont think you need to worry about it much.

Thanks all. I built the new diff (yup-this is what i do on Friday nights!!) already and am contemplating tearing into the shocks next..... I built it with a TC3 spring so hopefully I wont expereince the loosening diff problem.

Okay-build up motivation to do shocks.....ughhhh...

Yes the Chassis sits nice and flat without the Upper Deck. I am building step by step per the Kit manual, so I haven't made it to the Shocks yet.

Everything that mounts to the Chassis was tightened in a cross pattern. I even tried leaving the Camber link mounts loose on the Gear Boxes (thinking warping was here) but to no avail.

Going to contact HPI and see if they will warranty the Deck. I hate to pay for another one and have the same problem occur.

Thanks,

Ray, the shocks are a
quicky. Remember this, once you get
the shaft 1/2 in, it's all
over!
