RB-car should be at home-diff on Friday and BMI Chassis coming next week!! Waaahoooo!!! I'll pop your set-up on it and hopefully I'll get it on the track on the 25th!!!! I am getting the full blown BMI-chassis-top deck, shock towers and steering.

Do you feel car needs any Ackermann mods at this time? I think Downforce found lengthening the arm on the front spindle was advantageous on Nats layout.

FYI. Anyone having any issues with keeping their diffs locked................. Use the TC3 diff spring. It is much stronger and allows you to run the diff a lot looser and still be locked down.

Ray,

How are they lengthening it? Just going to the other set of holes on the hubs? I have yet to play with Ackerman. Once I get all of the tuning options out there (suspension blocks) I will play with a lot more settings. I'd like to get some of that arm sweep out the car, but 2.5 seems to be the only block available right now.

Just like on the Xray's with a piece of carbon fiber with another hole. I am about to make a set for the Xray and may make set ofr the Pro4. Using old shock towers from my Xray!!

Default BMI CHASSIS SET-UP

RB,
were you using a diff up front or a one-way? Foam or rubber tires w/ inserts? Indoors carpet? Asphalt indoor / outdoor?

If I'm not mistaken it was:

Diff (not entirely sure)
Foams (for sure)
Carpet (for sure)
