Surikarn does race in jmrca nationals final. Tamiya fixed it just like Hpi did with Hara at Roar nats. Currently Surikarn and Masami is the fastest and Hara is off pace.

the pics of the Pro4 looks great...one thing i noticed though is that the batteries don't look recessed enough.

they almost look like the are just on top of the chassis...basically it looks like they might fall out?

maybe i'm just used to seeing my TC3 with the batteries nice and snug

So does this mean we have to tape the batteries?

No, on other pictures of the car they show it with a batter strap like on the SD. They give you the option of running with it or with tape.

So do you think we'll get both in the kit to choose from?

The only pictures I've seen with a proper battery holder is the CAD drawings, the pre-production drawings don't have the holders fitted, and all the team drivers pics I've see are with tape.

In the team drivers pic it looks like there is a hole that could be used to mount the battery mounting post. I would expect them to include the strap in the kit, that way if you wanted to use tape you just wouldn't put the battery strap on the car.

Tape is a little more of a hassle to use but is much lighter. I believe the kit will come with a molded strap, as seen in the CAD drawings.
