Yeah, the problem is, when you hit the wall with a one-way, the wheel that touches instantly locks with the wall ( or other objects ). The drivetrain keeps going.. When you have a diff in the car in the same situation, the drivetrain keeps going, but it puts all the power to the unlocked wheel ( other side of the car ).

With a Losi or TC3 you risk blowing a one-way bearing, with a Tamiya Evo or Pro4 you risk blowing a gear. I just think that the blowing gear is a little more pronounced due to some flex in the gear. No worries though, I know that it will be fixed.

How is the Hara Twister compared to a Quantum? Where can I get it from?

I like it better than the quantum...at least the Twister has gone up in smoke yet.... The #1 reason I like it is that you can program the different frequencies via the PC or laptop...

You can get one from Horizon Hobbies. or check with your LHS..they may be able to get one for you....

They are identical to the KO VFS-2000.

Don't forget the Keyence Zero V Extreme....its got programable frequency on the ESC itself (no need for a PC), and the best part: NO external power caps to solder.

I have one as well... it is a great Speedo...especially with no power cap or diode is needed. Only if I could just get a Purple case for it.... unfortunately.. Schumacher is out of stock on cases...still waiting for them to arrive...

The Zero is available in Black, Blue, & Purple....outside of the US..
only seen the blue in the US.

the MI2 looks very nice and competative...looks similar to the TRF415... if I had a choice between the 2... it'll be the 415 for better parts availability.

Zombies,

Let me see if Ultimate Hobbies can get some cases in for us. When I went to have one repaired, the owner literally CALLED Keyence on the phone to find out what was wrong with my ESC. Perhaps they can get some in for us special order

$410 @ Socal RC RAceway; $389 @ Speedtech....I never thought I'd see the day that I might pay that much for a Electric R/C car. I'm just gonna wait for a used one....

Thanks bro...

the blue one I have now is cracked where the screws are... if you can get a couple purple and a black one...that would be great.... the blue just doesn't cut it in the car...
