How thick are these tapes?

Default Which Hex Hubs??

Guys;

I was noting in the Pro4 Manual that it shows 1.5mm of spacers being used over the Wheel Hexes. This I do not like, as my favorite wheel is Yokomo and they already have very shallow Hexes.

Who makes a direct fit Hex Hub that is longer? (Buy HPI is out) I like the clamping Hubs better than the O-ring kind.

Thanks,
Steven

Steven

I don't like it too... I posted a link to the Integy/Atlas clamping 6.2mm hex hubs a while back.....and in Purple! the HPI wider hex is 6.3mm

Hmm...
would this make your car's bottom go less shiny after you move it?
because of vibration against the carbon fiber plate from the lexan...

my pro 2 made underside of my servo go all rough and the carbon fiber "clear coat"? kinda disapeared

It is adhesive on one side, no vibration.

it would still be like new..... there is no vibration...it's not really lexan..more like a very think vinyl. it's self enhesive and not moving anywhere

if it does get dull.... a little automotive clear-coat polish will make it shiney again....

Pops,

The yokomo wheels fit fine with the spacers, that's how I've been running the car @ socal. If you can't wait for HPI, Tamiya's clamping hub set for the TA04 should fit, and its a lot thicker. SoCal had some blue ones in stock on tuesday, last I checked.
