TSR6 when you change to wider hex's let me know how it works out,I'm running yokomo rims and they have a shallow hex, another problem I have had is the rear rims rubbing on the bottom shock mount and the top camber ballcup. With the kit setup it's a very tight fit(and yes I'm using the right washers )anyone else notice this.

Personally, I feel the trackwidth options are essential to the setup of all HPI vehicles. I would only get the wider hexs if you are always running full width or unless you are actually spinning the wheels but I wasn't in mod foam carpet and that is the best test for durability.

David - The wheels our track is using as a spec tire ( CS27 preglues on Speedmind rims ) have a pretty shallow hex.

If i need to adjust width, I can always go back to the stock hexes.

Oh, that would make sense than, oddly enough I didn't know there were wheels more shallow than others. Is that just the speedline wheel or typical for rubber wheels all together compared to foams?

All the foam tires I have are pretty deep for the hex. The tires I have now are fine too, the one wheel I spun the hex on was the same tire I was running when I broke my gear ( hehe ) weeks ago. It was damaged from that, and finally ended up spinning tuesday.

I have noticed that Proline, HPI, and a few others generally have deeper hexes. Yokomo and speedmind are pretty shallow.

xxxkat - shave the top ballcup with an xacto.

Hmm, I just got a killer idea for adjustable trackwidth that you can use on narrow wheels. I was going to spill it but I think I may design it instead because it is a good idea. Just let me know if it is a common problem everyone and I will send the idea to Racer's Edge or HPI.

the wider hex is #72036..... "Buy HPI" had some for sale...but sold out... You can also get the Altas version from Integy...you'll need the 6.3mm +/-
Tamiya also have some 6mm wide hex. Itīs # 53569 and itīs the clamping type. As axle diameter is the same as PRO4 it should work. Package contains 4 pcs including all hardware and should be in the 15-20 $ range.

The hexes are inside the rims who cares what color they are....

NE1 having trouble with tweak... my car constantly wants to tweak the chassis without a hit just seems to want to be in that position... have loosened the shocks, topdeck and reset but it just wants to go back after a couple of races.

I also have a problem with the car being extremely loud. I have checked diff backlash and all is sweet and it rolls expremely well just on the track it makes a shreeking noise like some of the corallys start to when the get old... I have 3 pro4's - one for concrete and one for ashphalt one for parts - so im think im gonna parts this one and use one of the others...
