Default david what setting for carpet did you use?

Yes I got to run it yesterday with mod foam on Dupont carpet like snowbirds. 3rd pack on it and it was smoother and easier to drive than the TC3 with all the tricks done to it. You know how the TC3 wants to be driven at 120%, it always wants to be pushed hard you know? The Pro4 feels more like an Xray as far as handling goes, it wants to be driven around the 85 - 90% area so you make hardly no mistakes driving but it has the exact same rip as the TC3 without any sound. The only thing you hear from this car is the tires in the turn and the whine of a 8x2 at full RPM. I couldn't believe it to be dead honest.

Setup was easy, I made one mistake that I had to back track on and that was going to a shorter rear link, everything other than that was spot on and took 4 packs to have the car read setup wise for the Nats.

David did you use the setting listed in the manual for carpet?

RCDriverGary: awesome sig line... reminds me of an old girlfriend
I found it on a bumper sticker a few years ago. She hates it so I love it

Cobra, no, I do not grease my gears, nor were these boiled gears. I don't think either of these factored into my breakage, I just hit a corner dead on with the wheel under power damn hard. I had hit it a few times before that and was suprised it had lasted as long as it did. Don't forget, I also wiped out 2 sets of gears on my Evo 3 on the same track. Wow, maybe I just suck as a driver Wait, I can still beat Troy, so I can't be all that bad

No, just tired. Plus keep in mind I did run in Green Bay saturday, and ran the TCS as well. On top of that, don't forget I was really sick this past week too.

Hey guys,

I read a post that said the pro4 is a silent runner? if thats true-thats almost enough incentive to try one out. I want to be competitive wit the best equipment-regardless of things like noise, etc. But I HATE how loud my TC3 Conversion cars are. If the Pro4 is silent and its not a slug like other shaft drive cars I have tried-yu can bet I'll get one and probably have a stiffer chassis and top deck out for it in no time!!!

Very cool-you know me Zombies-I have to try every car out there and I pretty much have!!

But my track testing time has been cut in dramatically from 2002-so I cannot really dedicate to the testing like I did in past years.

I think I'll buy one in April or May-by that time hopefully all the parts and needed options like a wide bumper will be sorted out and available by then.
