Lucky you...I wish I was young enough to still get birthday gifts... all I get are Ties, a shirt, or 1 sock...
well the best part of growing old... I get to buy my own birthday presents...

Thumbs up PRO 4

Just got my Pro 4 today and.....WOW! SO far so good. Finally someone produced a car that is cut for the 3300's and not the old 2000's.

Thank You HPI! I look forward to tearing up the carpet here in Michigan!

The wait has been worth it!

Ouch, you guys are killing me!? I placed an order with Ultimate on Tuesday morning and even paid extra fo 3 day shipping thinking that I would get the kit today (3 days) but they didn't ship the kit until Wednesday evening Now it looks like if I would have just kept my original pre order with my LHS I may have recieved the kit today. I guess I learned my lesson.

PRP - always support your lhs when you can. Sorry, couldnt resist the little jab.. Seems to be worth the wait so far. It goes together fairly quickly. Only reason I am not any further is I'm letting the gears soak.

I sure got some funny looks in the dorm after microwaving water to a boil ( about 2:00 ) and plopping the gears in it.

lazy - Trackside has 2 more, at least they did when i was there...

I remember the days of taking buses to hobby stores, riding my bike carrying all my rc gear, even with 12v battery in tow....

Now i am older i have a car to carry all my r/c gear, but have to buy my own birthday presents....

It will be in about an hour, assuming I don't get a call about a party. I didn't plan on having it done, or nearly this far ( almost done, basicly just the shocks, towers, and setup left ), but I hosed out on the normal party friends tonight.

edit - and if i dont quite playing with the drivetrain, spinning it up... and actually get back to work...hehe
