Thanks for the reply Erik,
the drive train must be a touch higher than the Cuda then, a 75 spur wouldn't have many teeth left on it after a run in a Cuda. Although it does just about fit, it's just not safe outdoors. That range looks like it should just about be able to cope at all the tracks I can think of

Good to hear the car comes with good spec "plastic" parts, instead of having to buy better ones a couple months after the release of a kit like most cars.
I take it the gears are made of the same stuff and so are a bit brittle without boiling.

Looks like it weighs about the same as a Cuda more lead weights needed

Hi Guys,

A quick update on the Pro4 situation, we have the kits in stock right now, and we are working through the pre-order list. However, our first batch was about only half of what we ordered with our supplier (HPI simply did not send enough quantities) So those of you that pre-ordered early enough have already received an email from me, please reply ASAP. Those of you that pre-ordered later, we will have more kits coming in next week, and also, some that pre-ordered before you might pass up the kit as well.

I apologize for the delay, we are working through the pre-order list as fast as we can. Thank you all for your patience.

Sincerely,

Steve Wang

I'm assuming Ultimate doesn't have them in available and that's why someone would want to pay $45 extra for the kit?

Sorry about playing devil's advocate but I have to wonder.

I may not need one...majority of the track all run personnal transponder now...
might wait for HPI #75167 1pr aluminum servo mounts.
Nope, i just asking it from you I just made sparepart order for my (coming) pro4 from Online shop HK and didn`t saw nothing about that item. Maybe they get those later from square

I want one, because it will fit perfectly with my purple Team Orion personal ponder when i use it for training

I have not that AMB personal ponder yet.

Anyone know how sell those AMB ponders in US?

I got my kit yesterday from Ultimate and had a successful bevel boiling session - thanks for all the tips zombie! The gears are sitting in Paragon lube right now. Built the shocks and prepared the chassis while waiting for the titanium screws to arrive from HK.

I read on IRS Racing or somewhere that its a good idea to rough up one side of diff D-Rings with 600-grit sandpaper. Do you typically do this?

Where can I get the Paragon lube from? Is it similar to Tamiya anti-wear grease?

Frank, I spoke to Ultimate yesterday afternoon. They still had a couple on the shelf and he thought they had a few in the back as well. He did say they are selling well. And that price is correct. Also, Speedtech got some and they will have some more shortly from what Steve said.

I don't sand the diff rings 'coz they are already notched..and wont' slip. This way...when 1 side wears out...just flip it over and use the other side.

racingdc9:
check with you LHS...they should be able to get it...got mine from Tower it's called Ultralon.
