Hi all,

I've recently got some titanium CVD's for my Pro4, but they are about 2mm shorter than my alu stock ones. This means that my outdrives pop out slightly when racing.

Is this a problem-can i damage/break anything? Can anyone offer some advice please i would be really grateful.

Thanks!

You are 100% correct. The associated dff screw set is stronger and lasts for like ever.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I've put some o-rings in the front outdrives to stop them from sliding around, would this be sufficient do you think? What worries me is that could i damage the outdrives by using these bones as they are shorter bones than the HPI allu ones i have removed?

I probably dont need and o-rings in the back because the outdrives are fixed to the diff and cannot fall out but i think i may do anyway.

Thanks, hopefully i'll be OK for my meeting on Friday.

i myself wouldn t use them as the conact area on the out drive will be right at the end of the outdrive. this may cause the very ends of the out drives to snap off. but anyways best of luck
