I was looking at the new R/C Touring Cars issue and I saw that the Pro 4 estimated street price was going to be $240.

The 2mm chassis works much better than the 3mm under most circumstances. Trust me I have done a ton of testing with both prototype pro 4’s and the pro 3 on all types of track surfaces and tire combinations…even foam.

Kamen Rider,

Hara has played a huge part in the development and testing of the Pro 4. If he decides that the 2mm chassis works better, you can bet its going to be in the kit.

Thanks for the reply, Thad.

Another quick question, how easy is it to change the spur gear in Pro 4?

What happens when you run the Pro4 a lot at socal? Not that I'm interested in the car or anything it's just that parts of my 2.5mm chassis are around 1.8mm after six months of racing there. Now if that started at 2.0mm... ummm you get the picture. Even if the performance is a little bet less optimum, I think it would best to offer the 3.0 mm chassis with the kit to give people that piece of mind and offer the 2.0mm as a "tuning option"

The reverse could also be true. HPI's research may show the 2 mm chassis a better fit for this car, I'm sure a 3 mm chassis will be available from either HPI or a 3rd party as a "tuning option".

All these complaints and nobody has even driven the car. I can’t wait till we start getting feedback from people with a Pro 4 instead of all this speculation!

Default Aussie Availability

It is entirely up to the distributors and hobby dealers as to how well the car's spares are stocked, the availability, the price and so on... Have you tried taking this up with your hobby shop or distributor? I don't think that problem lies with HPI, but rather with your local supply chain (or lack of )

Either way... where's the Pro 4???? I want more pictures or something to tide me over

Wow, looks very nice and clean. Already available for pre-order overseas too. I wonder when it will get here.

Default wow

wow, , that car is mine, not for this winter, i love my xxx-s to much, but for next year, oh ya. That car looks like a million dollar car, lets just hope it's not anywhere near that price, with all that woven graphite and aluminum. I hope that is the regular version, not the atsushi hara. Hpi better give america all the versions and hopups this time, cuz i want the pro 3 AH, but i don't want to buy overseas. Hpi, , very good job, now lets see it race.
