UnderBody Protection?
 

Do any of you use any type of protection for the bottom part of your graphite chassis?

if you guys do what type do you guys use and do you guys suggest using it?

No I dont use it, I let it get scratched up. It doesnt effect the performance. Ive found if you put blue thread lock in the scratches it reduces their appearance.

If your really want a chassis protector- go to Home depot or Lowes and get some contact paper in clear or whatever print you'd like. Cut it out and that's it.

There are a few products to do it like contact paper or the AE teflon sheet. However most times it is not worth the hassle to use. They do not completely prevent scratches as sometimes a rock will cut through them.

clear contact sheet is great stuff:nod: comes on a roll, you can cover several chassis with it etc etc etc, +1

I've used a flexible cutting board cut to size on my BJ4 WE. You can pick it up from a store like Bed Bath & Beyond. They'll come in a package of 3 and are only about $4-$5. I've made 6 undertrays from 1 package. They're thicker than the JConcepts ones - and cheaper too! Just make sure it's long enough to tuck under the front skid plate. Used flat head screws to secure it to the chassis.

"stone guard", or somthing similar. it the stuff that is used to protect motorcycle fuel tanks from chips and scratches. get it from a motorcycle dealer...
