sweeeet, the Plex is going to do a great job. Can't wait to catch up with all my racing buddies from both coasts here in Omaha.

Dumb question here, but is this race on foam tires or rubber tires? or both?

Foam, but I think a rubber tire class (or two) should be added.

The rest of the nats are being worked on as we speak, and they will be announced shortly. I would be willing to bet we will have more before the end of the week.

Dates will be: March 12-16, 2008 I'm just off the phone with the track. No, it can't be moved to April and no it can't be Easter weekend in March. This is the only other weekend available.

My deepest apologies to Region 11 Championship sanctioned event.

What a great world we live in. We have so many RC events going on, that they overlap each other. I mean realy, how bad would it suck to have so few events that there would never be a schedule conflict or two.

My apologies....

but our rules state that we cannot, if at all possible, schedule over another ROAR sanctioned event, especially a level 3 or level 4 as this championship event is. Unfortunately, one week up isn't of much help to many of the potential racers for this event and I deeply regret the hard feelings this might cause.

We must.. and I say must... begin working on making regionals mandatory for national attendance... and begin working much closer with our affiliates as to proposed dates for any event. Nice thing is.... the ROAR excom is revamping as we speak the process of sanctioning and we so much appreciate Chuck Moon and his efforts.

The rule was written when ROAR had tracks running the events and the spirit was to show experience.

With RMT involved, ROAR looks at the acceptability of the facility and the amenities since ROAR runs its own events.

Obviously, that rule needs updating.

You can run anything there or you could as of the early this month.
