Default alum. vs steel screws in a tc

i have stripped a few aluminum screws in my tc4 and was wondering if i should get a tony's screw kit? i know it will add weight, but i won't destroy other parts of the car trying to extract soft aluminum screws. what is the best optionn?

Depends on a couple things: Do you have to add weight to your car to pass tech? If you do, then a steel screw kit would be fine.

If you're already close to race weight, I'd opt for a set of titanium screws. There are a number of companies that make Ti screw kits for all sorts of TCs. The Ti screws are much harder than the aluminum ones, such as those nasty Associated blue screws. Way too soft, IMO.

AE's aluminum screws are pathetic and insulting. fastener-express.com sells good aluminum screws.
