good showing for Speedmerchant's this past weekend at our "Texas State Champs" this past weekend.

I ended up TQ'ing with my Beavis edition Rev.5 with Steve Marker right now my tail with his Rev.5, followed extremely close by Andrew Doherty wheelin his "old skool" Rev 4.5.

Marker took A1 by a few seconds in front of me...I took A2 by about 4 seconds, and then when it really mattered - Marker took me by three tenths in A3 (with the help of Andrew blocking me thinking I was fighting him for position )

All in all, it was a fun weekend racing!

Here is A2 on youtube, A3 was crazy fun as Marker and I were nose to tail for the ENTIRE race!!! I had the wobbly knees after it was all done....

Thanks Andrew for blocking but I think I could have taken him without your help , but I'll take it. The car felt great and I was shaking too - I love adrenaline. I think we need to run more 12th scale - I want to see if I can back it up or if AWD's "cock blocking" really had an affect.

Is there a conversion to go from the 4.5 to the 5? Or is it just the formula front end, and new rear pods, top and bottom plates?
Thanks

Sorry for the late response, but I don't think there is an "official conversion kit" - but you are correct - that is all you would need to go from the 4.5 to the 5.

You might be better off selling off your 4.5 (depending on the condition of the car) and buying a new one. The price difference shouldn't be too much more from buying the extra's (ie front end, pods, etc) to using the money from the sale of your 4.5 and a new one.

Just a thought - i usually find it is better to get a new kit when the price difference is very minimal.
