Maybe these things can't take it offroad!
2 dead batteries, same symptoms.
Mr Black, you hearin this? Will Orion/Peak help me out with this?
I don't think runnin em offroad sometimes should be considered abuse, should it?
Why dont you private message Mr Black to make sure he is aware or contact Orion directly. Im sure they will take care of it for you. I was under the impression lots of people are using these for off-road. I have without problem. Like you said perhaps there was a bad batch. I know they had a problem with some double sided tape once before too.

I suppose technically thats true. They didn't have a delivery slot in their door so I ASSUMED this would get it right to them. DOH!:
The next one I will probably hand deliver it to them or even do it right and get a Return Merchandise Authorization #, RMA. That's how it's supposed to be done.

Well My 3200 smoked or I thought they did .I guess it was actually the ESC and it also took out the motor(13.5).The total time on the 3200 was less than twenty minutes of run time.On the following monday after this happened I called Peak/Orion/Kyosho about the problem. They said send it back and they would look at the problem.I sent them back and yesterday I got a call back( actually the hobbyshop did). The actual batterys were okay the circuit board shorted out with the fuse. So the lipos were okay and they replaced the circuit board and the fuse and it's coming back ready to go. Now I'm just waiting on the ups guy to bring me my battery back. Thanks Kyosho/Peak/Orion.
question Can we just order a spare ciruit board and fuse for the next time my ESC decides to smoke the equipment. By the way the motor and ESC were also new with the same amount of time on them.

I would like to know too about replacing the fuse. I have a pack which we connected to a gtb backwards and saw a puff of smoke coming from the pack.

I think it has to be done by Orion. I think you can't solder to the tabs on the battery. Seems like I read that one tab it aluminum and there is a rubber seal around the tab at the cell that would melt and cause a short. Best to email them Orion to make sure.
