Hello Gentlemen,

Ours will be released Monday. Had to add a few days because we will have 2 versions of 416XL Lipo Chassis available.
The 1st version will include the steel weight battery holders for $84.95 and the 2nd version will have carbon fiber battery holders for $74.95. The CF version is recommended for those that need to run below 1400g of weight. The steel version is for heavier weight limits such as ROAR.

I'm very surprised by the email response so far and have ordered a 2nd batch to be made up for this month as it appears the first batch will be sold out quickly next week.

Thank you all for your support and happy racing!

Hi Mike

This might be a daft question but how do you tape the packs in to this chassis? I couldn't see from the pictures where it would run.

Or do you have to use the battery bar?

there are two small plates that screw onto the top of the battery weights.. and the battery tape ONLY goes across the top of your battery.

so you can set tweak without having to remove your battery tape.

Hibiki is correct- the included tabs are what you attach the tape pieces to. We suggest you loop a piece of tape on each tab and then bridge a long piece of tape over the battery and from tab to tab. You then only need to replace the long center section as needed. This system does not put tape under the chassis thus preventing interference when you reset your tweak which you should be checking after every run.
We do offer the custom battery strap if you want to omit tape entirely

Just wondering if there is an optional or different diff plate (not 416x) people are using? It looks like in this pic that Marc R might be using something different as the plates look like they go past the outdrive.

Any ideas or advice?

Yep, that will work on your 416, and definitely seems to stand up to bending better.
