Mr. Try Hard,

I was reading one of your build tips for the 416WE and was wondering if you could provide us with a part number/s to your fantastic idea? Here's your quote.

"useful tip, to change the lower shock ball joints over to the hex headed type. This helps to speed up shock position changes on the arms, and also aids in reducing slop development, as you can just unscrew the ball joint, rather than popping it off."

same hex head ball studs you use on the bulkheads for the camberlinks.

For some odd reason i thought the camberlink balls were a smaller diameter.

I believe your right, the diameter is the same. Although, the offset of the hex ball is 1mm shorter than the original ball. Nothing a little shimmy won't help.

haven't got any body off shots but here's my car getting round at the first big event of the year over the weekend



I too have the milky blue bling but it's ruined at the moment by running the HPI springs. I might go back to the kit sways to match the blue HPIs, which are actually black

Yup, that's all i've done, added a 1mm shim behind each ball joint. It's more so the lower spring retainer clears the arm than anything else
