Why is that there's no slot for battery tape if we will use 5cells?
maybe its not a trf 416??
Just what like they said it's especially made for brushless and maybe for 5cells also. why it has no battery slot for 5cells?

Exclamation 414M, 415, 415MSX, 415MRE & now this 416!

I guess I would have to get rid of a couple of my TRF kits (414M, 415 & 415MSX) to get the 416. Will keep my 415MRE for now.

Thought I was done buying TRF kits since I've been racing nitro lately.

Ah well, what can I say....hello credit card debt for me!

Think I have to agree with Eirik here... the whole layout looks too similar to the 415. Almost looks like someone has custom made bulkheads and top deck to improve rear flex, and use an 4800 LiPo (check the right hand rear bulkhead). The front bulkheads look like ones from the 05MS, with the double screw hole to mount the top deck.
As someone else has mentioned... theres no facility for 5 cell either... which isn't strange in iteself, except that the MSXX does....

Thoose were the kind of ideas I was thinking of that the car might have though.

Regards
Ed

I will be suprised if Tamiya decide to make the 416 with fully inboard suspension. I just dont think it would be incorporated into the chassis design seeing as no other manufacturer has had the guts to go this way. Sure, if youre racing a quick brushless you need a good suspension setup to get it dialled....

But fully inboard? I just dont see it.

Yeah sure they have the TA05 IFS,but thats not fully inboard suspension.

Guess its all down to that wait and see game...
