will the lipo chassis from tamiya 42182 fit the WE?

Chee, If you do not get the response you can get my 416X regular chassis from me and line up the holes to see if it will work.

Yes...But the top deck will not.

Craig it seems like running the standard Jilles setup will work pretty well, I know Syndr0me was running foams on his the other night and the car looked pretty good.

Since he is a traitor and put foams on his perfectly good TRF 416X...I have officially thrown him off the TRF local team at our track (The team consists of me and him)! After two runs with the foams and putting rubber tires back on I officially re-added him back to the team...Crisis averted!

See Chee the chassis will work but you just need to get the top and lower deck to make the new kit.

The diff in the x is lower and moved further back

Based on everything I have heard at the Tamiya track here, that is the hot setup. 416WE with 42182 Lipo Chassis and the WE top deck...then use or not use the steering top plate bolt based on your feelings...
