Yeah, that works, but it's really kind of a pain in the ass compared to just sliding a shim under there. The front blocks in particular are a pain with regular shims.

For the 2pc blocks, I use one of those slding shims to help hold the block in place with 1 screw hole and then I add a matching standard cyclindrical shim for the other screw hole.
But yeah, I agree, I wish that made sliding shims specifically for the 2 pc blocks.

Its ok, I know... Trying to figure out what's been wrong with it recently, so it'll be down for a few days. Intend to have it back up by the end of the week, but unfortuantly some most recent post will have been lost

Probably a Losi overload now that you switched brands.

I have 4 Spec-R gear diffs and some extra seals on the way from EGR Mart. Each diff is about $33 USD, not a bad price considering the cost it would take to build a new complete Tamiya ball diff.

Hopefully they work out well.

Please do let us know what you think. I have been wanting to try something other than the spool in the front of mine.

Not so... we get more requests from team TRF drivers everyday Toni Reinard will be stocking the chassis for sale as well. After testing with the team he reports very positive feedback.

I will be running it in the rear with a spool up front, but I will let you know how the quality, etc. is.

What was his feedback like? Was his testing on carpet or asphalt or both? Trying to determine if this is something I should get for Reedy.

Thanks,

Kody

They have been testing on both but are now getting ready for outdoor events. Yannick has been doing most of the testing and finished right behind Volker at the German Nats so they are feeling really upbeat now that they've been running the chassis for a few months.
