Guys,

Measured mine at 2.33mm but it's no real big issue here. Anyway ran my car last week at an indoor race but due to lack of traction + setup issues, the tail was abit loose.

Went over to another outdoor asphalt track, the handling was quite perfect. Will try more setup changes / effect this sat and raceday on Sunday. Will report more then.

happy racing.

ran the exotech chassis on the last race. The car felt more even on the left/right transitions and my tweak was completely gone. I had some bad crashes during the day, but I never had to readjust my tweak. I probably picked up a good .3 sec on my average times.

Here is a vid of that race. My car is on the second grid. Too bad the driver fell asleep on the wheel

There is another 416X on the third grid.

Default Diff setup

Guys,

I had my first run last weekend on my club, the whole saturday racing.

Today I had the diff apart to clean and them assembled it again, the question is when I assembled the first time on the manual there is no instructions on how many turns or at least a value to star with, how many turns you guys use on it?

I would like to have a value to work on, on my old TC5 the manual stated it.

Whatever you do don't tighten it all the way and then loosen it off like associated diffs, the diff bolt will break.

Can anyone help me with a damperquestion. I would like to have new dampershafts to fit my TRF416 dampers, but they need to be 2-3mm longer than the originals. I know that I could use longer plastic ballcup, but don't want to limit the up-travell.

I have measured Associated and Xray shafts, but they both are 3.1mm thick. Kyosho RRR shafts would fit, but the mounting of the piston is different..

So the measures should be 2.99mm thick 20.00mm length of the sliding part (from the e-clip to the start of the thread) and piston mounted with e-clips.

Thanks,

-X-

Tersted the Smokem chassis with the steering brace yesterday. Haven't really fine tune yet. The balance still off on the motor side.

Try pushing the lipo outer little bit. That should do the trick. btw, I still add some 45gm on the rear lipo part.
