I am working on some redesigned blocks...I should have some prototypes done in the next couple of weeks. We will be testing 1E's in the rear to start but if it gains traction will probably produce 1C, 1D, and 1F also.

I used it on front (1c) and rear (1xa). Car feels much smoother and easier to drive. After to races any bend. Looks like new.

I guess anything is better than what I'm doing now; not running any weights or balancing my car!
I'm using a bitty design lipo tray which add 50g and hang the lipo
out two the right side

I couldn't beleave it when I first put it in my X the car was balanced
straight up

But was still under weight so I add 20g either side right up behind
the suspension pins
and now my car is 1427 with a weight limit here in oz has just
dropped to 1425g

Default 416we

Quick question I am setting up my 416we for outdoor racing and was wondering if using the origional 416 upper deck is a good idea or do I stick with the we top deck?

Guys,
As a sound out, how many people would be interested in a chassis plate for better LiPo balance?
I've got a design worked out on the comp, and basically it would mean making use of the flipped drivetrain, and would also result in much narrower chassis too.
All the normal holes would be drilled, so would fit on any car (std, WE, X), and it would only be for LiPo, as there wouldn't be any cells slots (just locator holes).
If people want to let me know their interest (or shoot me a PM), I'll make some enquires about having a batch made up, and costs etc.

Cheers
Ed

How is the quality in comparison with, for example, xray t3?

which of the cars is better? the quality of the driving characteristics?

The Tamiya quality is great, strong parts and more importantly, a great handling car. I don't think anyone out there will argue that...

The cars are very similar in both quality and performance. Just choose the one you like most and that you can get parts for the easiest
