The holes in the middle shock tower is positioned a half hole inwards compared to stock towers. So they are inbetween the stock holes and that is what the name refers to.

Snap on covers ? I've seen some stickers made to do that sort of thing buy nothing that snaps on. I'd love to see them.

I imagine they'd have to be the same mounts as the TA05 ver.2 was designed for, which means 2 holes per side. And I'd also imagine that we'd either have to drill the extra holes in the 416's chassis plate ourselves, or Tamiya may offer to sell a new chassis with them incorporated.....
