For anyone interested in seeing the track you can check it out on Live RC, under OCRC.
You got a setup you could post please Randy

Cheers

I can only find a '08 DHI setup, is this what you mean, or is this somewhere else on the site? THX

If you go into carpet setups, then look under Jilles Groskamp's setups the '09 DHI is in there. Start off with the WC upper deck, and if your rear end is too planted switch to the standard 416 decks.

Randy I have to be blind, I'm looking at Jilles carpet setups, to which there are only 4 listed, DHI08, HPI Cup, Foam carpet Base, and LRP TCM 2009. I just don't see anything DHI09. Are you sure its the DHI09 and not the DHI08?

Did you try JACO blues?

BTW, to anyone running the 416 or 416WC with Lipo packs, they will finally be able to easilly fit into the Tamiya chassis. I've been working with Chris at Manutech Racing, they already make trays for multiple other cars on the market, and when I contacted him about making one for the 416 line, he was more than happy to put one together for me.

Yesterday I got the prototype, it fit into my chassis perfectly, and mounted the pack exactly how I wanted it to. I'll be going to the track today to test the balance of it and give it the "OK" and then they will be readilly available. I'll get pics posted soon as well.

This tray will allow ANY lipo pack to easilly fit into the 416 without worrying about any clearance issues with the upper deck.

That's awesome, Randy. Thanks for kicking that off. My 416 is great. A lipo tray would make it awesome :-) Me Happy

Whew, I was getting ready to up my meds. Thanks

Did you get to try JACO blues or just the greens?

I've been using a Lipo tray originally intended for a Xray, to make it fit I had to cut it in half, 2 x 3 cell so to speak, the width of the cut was all that was needed for it to fit the 416. Although I still prefer the weight down the center of the car, over the plate. JMO

As long as the test goes well tonight, the production time should be quick. I saw the final revisions of the drawing on last Friday, and had a plate in my hands yesterday!

I've only been running green's so far, still a new track. The groove is finally getting good enough to where I can switch over to the blue's.
