At least you evened it out on the other side. I wanted to make the modification to the battery just so I don't have to worry about messing up the car's performance. If you copy someone's setup but you have a cut upper deck it's going to handle differently than how it was supposed to handle. I'm sure cars and packs will be changing before long, lipo is still new technology, so soon we won't have to worry about modifying anything.

ok.. The Mazda 6 looks twitchy but it also lookd like he didn't have a good grasp of the line , especially on the back straight and setting up for the right end of the track.
The Titan body seemed a bit more stable but also looked as if it was better due to the effect of having more track time under his belt.
Personally for carpet I perfer the R9R. It feels like it has more downforce overall. And its a kewl car and not moms grocery getter >

belt tension
Hi guys, i was racing indoors last sunday and the question of belt tension arose...i was always led to believe the belt should be run as loose as possible without the belt slipping, which in my mind will give the least resistance on the pulleys and the bearings. However the guys i was talking to said they had been told that the belt should be run as tight as possible for maximum power delivery with no lose due to belt slap..what really got me was they had been told 10.5 should be tighter than if you had a 3.5 brushless on board..
can anyone shed some light on this question....please?

I've only seen noobs running (TC5) with a tight belt.
Most others will replace it with a 416 belt.
Belt slap.... please! That thing is movin' so fast, you couldnt tell it was "slapping" . Micro seconds man... I'll give that up for efficiency any time !
