I dont know . Maybe I'll try one of those Orion motors. But for now , I've spent a bit 2 much lately . Any one want a Novak 3.5l 5.5l or 6.5l? All are brand new , never run!

I just noticed this, when I lifted my car (steering neutral/straight) and put it on throttle, the car drive train is very smooth, as soon as I apply left or right steering everything seems to vibrate and I can see the front belt flaps too. Is this normal? because of the front spool?? Is there a way to reduce this vibration?

It's the same with any car, as the front joints are not true CV's. You won't find this will affect the car on track, the plastic spool joints help to absorb a lot of the vibration. Also, you shouldn't need to be running too much lock, around 17degrees should be the maximum you'll need.

well, I finally got round to doing the roll centre calculator this evening, didn't take too long in the end

Find it attached.. it's excel only atm though I'm afraid, can't get Open Office to deal with some parts of it. You should be able to use it with the Excel viewer avaliable through Micro$oft though.

Ed

can you explain the values in your calculator... so if the rear static roll center is at -5... then i change values and it comes up to -2... does that mean the car is rolling less? more?

i guess the question is, what does it mean when the value gets closer to 0?

hope that makes sense.

Save it to your hard drive then try, the zip folder was empty when I selected "open", but it worked fine when I saved it to my desktop

Hi Ed, I noticed when you put the WE set up into the front page you get different static RC values than on the set up tab
