any tips on how loosen up a bit the turn-buckles,every time i make a camber adjustment they come out from the ball on the uprights or the bulkheads because they are quite stiff.

Tamiy pinion are there own if you want to use 64 pitch you can change your spur and pinion,or you can use tamiya 04pitch pinion and spur gears.what ever is best for you.

I would imagine that you haven't gotten an answer on those packs because not many have tried them(I think the SMC, Trackpower, Core RC & Orions are by far the most popular, & those seem to be the ones the factory guys are leaning towards as well), but my guess would be yes, it should fit. I thihnk the SMC 5000 is one of the biggest packs, & I know it fits in the 416(I know because it's the one I use, & I love it to death)......

The SMC pack is very tall. While it fits, it's so close to the top deck that it seems like it could inhibit equal flex.

That might be true, but I can't say I've noticed anything. Yes, it does rub the top deck slightly, but the car seems to run just fine, no handling issues or behavior like it might be tweaked, so I don't think it's interfering with anything....

I never noticed it on carpet, but I ran on asphalt with the center screw out of the top deck, and the car felt tweaked on the track even though it seemed okay on the board. There were marks on the pack like it was rubbing the top deck which I've never seen before. Just a theory. It's probably completely wrong.

- 44mm driveshafts
- different suspension blocks e.g. C/C, XA/E
- 1pc top deck?
- harder springs? e.g. white/blue

If it's the same as the one Marc was using there is no cross brace over the rear bulkheads
