The number of the plastic outdrives for the 416 spool i posted before is wrong.
Got the part in today number came directly from tamiya, but the part is a 415 outdrive.

The steering assembly of this car really takes a beating. I've managed to bend a number of the ball heads in the steering rack, and even have a bent titanium steering rod! I don't all that much, and never bent those pieces in other cars when I did hit a lot.

Okay, I'm looking at the part numbers for the new blocks, and this is what I've come up with:

54064: 1XD
54065: 1XC
54066: 1XB
54067: 1XA
54068: 1X
54069: 1A
54070: 1B
54071: 1C
54072: 1D
54073: 1E
54074: 1F

Now, my question is, will I generally have a need for each one of those? Also, how many should I get to make sure I'll have the right combination for my car? Two of each?

syndrome... with my experience.. you'll need at least the following:

Qty - block
2 - 1A
2 - 1B
2 - 1C
2 - 1D
1 - 1XA
1 - 1XB
1 - 1E

looks like they have a "1F" for those that want to widen the stance using the evoV short arms. ive always used the "1A" up front as a bridge.. with 1D. some setups ive seen now have 1B/1B up front.. or 1C/1C.

ive used a very narrow set up too using the 1XD.. but that was on asphalt.

This may be a little off-topic.. I've made some shirts for my website. What do you guys think of the design?
Thanks, Victor
