I always talk to my friend that no one use a one way outdoor....
I need to say sorry to him...he is a one way guy...
But, I hear about to use spool when low traction...is that right?
According to your post...spool allow a driver to miss a little bit but one way need a very stable driving style....is that right?
But, two week ago, in our last carpt race, I was use your 415MSXX stock setting for a 10.5R race...and that was awesome!!! I only changed rear toe in to 3 degree. I got A3 at the final and A3 finished. The car was still under control...my be last time I will change to 416 (if I got some spares...
) and spool for carpet this winter.

Hello all,
I agreed with what tryhard have said. BTW, I race 23T, in asphalt that have medium to low traction. I used spool in front with center one way. I feels that it give the best compromise between one way and spool, where you can have a more stable car yet still can brake. Please correct me if I am wrong.

A lot of that depends on class, track type, surface... but some general rules I tend to go on.
A one-way is usually faster over one lap, but is generally restricted to one line, and you loose the use of brakes (unless your really good ). A spool maybe slightly slower over a single lap, but can be more consistent over a run, as it's not restricted to one racing line. It also allows the use of brakes.
Outdoors, I'll use a spool in all classes, unless the track is particularly wide and open, and the I may consider a one-way for steering (this is especially so on big tracks with slower classes).
Indoors, mod and 10.5/19 I'll go spool, whilst stock I'll always tend to use a one-way. (although I did use a spool last time out, but that was beacuse I'm lazy...)

Any one know where I can get a chassis now at days, tryed most of the internet shops i the east and USA, but no one has in stock

regarding the worldwide TRF416-no stock topic: It like the iPhone from apple... But still waiting for the "WWDC" from Tamiya.
By the way: The 42106 TRF416 was a limited item (because of the 42xxx number). The first TRF415 was a normal item (because of the 58xxx number).
Finally the new aluminum rear hubs are available. Also the servosaver from aluminum, which got very popular in the 416, is also available now.

I've spent 2 days lately on searching an in stock 416. No where! But when I used Google I ended up at 2 stores. Vellrip.com and another one. I bought mine at vellrip.com, but it was the last one. Try Google as well, the store who had a 416 in stock as well was standing on the 2 resultpage in think. Good luck! I'm just building the 416 and it's awesome!! I can't find any good reason why I switched over to the S400 earlier this year. I'm VERY happy I'm back at Tamiya! No switches for me anymore!!

What effect does raising the height of the rear camber link have? I've noticed on high grip tracks (e.g. @ TITC) most of the setups have spacers under both sides of the camber link whereas the reedy race setups for medium grip have the links lower but still at the same angle. I also noticed Victor's reedy set up has less spacers under the inside front link compared to his TITC but this is probably to couter using hole 1 to mount the suspension on the arm
