can you confirm the 3Racing cups are made of steel and not plastic?
thanks
Which ones are you talking about? Because 3Racing sells plastic/delrin cups with aluminum sleeves.

The Atomic LCD's are about the same length as the 44mm CVD's. I prefer to run 46mm up front, so as such, I now have two brand new sets of LCD's for sale. Send me a PM if you're interested, US only please.
still have them?

Sorry Phil , um..forgot about you , yeah the coverplate looks like its 1.5mm
thick or even more , so im not sure how it would effect the ride height side of things .
Looks nice though.....
(anyone selling a demon brace ?) Ive searched the whole planet (and Precision RC)

Help me out here guys, ran the car for the first time, massive diff slip! pulled it in retensioned it (was a bit loose). Now tight! coming out of corners, SLLLLIP again. Its like its slipping on the outdrive/ring side and not on the balls.
Ive sanded both sides of the rings, i was advised to put AW grease in the outdrive/ring side. H e l p

I normally just use ball diff grease on the rings and don't have any slippage issues. Is this a new kit? If so, did you "prepare" the diff spring by squashing the spring down with a pair of pliers or multi-grips?

Really... if you do a bit of reading on the plates (it's on the website ) it says the sheets are 7mils thick, which actually comes out at 0.18mm... so naff all affect on the ride height really
I'm not running one, but would be sorely tempted when the outdoor season rolls around again...
Regards
Ed

Yep, prepped the spring. Sanded the rings. Ive rebuilt it again and will test again
Thanks

Usually after a rebuild, I get a lot of loosening after the first two runs. I think it's cause the diff balls are cutting a groove into the freshly sanded diff ring. Either that or the new diff-spring is breaking in. Give it another shot.
Also, try adjusting the diff by holding the spur and one rear tire, while trying to turn the other rear tire.

Will do! Im sure it'll come good. By the way, the help on this thread is awsome! Thanks so much
