nah, I don't think Horizon would stop Losi. Look how many RTRs they are selling at the moment! They have like 17 different monster trucks, ranging for noobies, pro-noobies, sportsmen, weekenders, unpaid pros, 25% pros, 50% pros, 75% pros, and factory guys. Oh, and their new mini-t slider for the left turn only guys, but that isn't exactly a monster truck.

Rumor has it Horizon has stopped all production of Losi and Sportwerks! Order your parts while they are still available!
Horizon changed the name and marketing of Team Losi recently to Losi, they are spending money developing new lines of Losi cars (hello Raminator, Monster Baja, and Mini Slider) and are still pushing those cars and sending them out to dealers.
I would make zero business sense for them to then just dump the line and cease production after spending all of that money re branding the line and producing the new kits, even if some are just deviations of previous models.
Losi will just be another name in RTR like Traxxas.

Well keep trying, sometimes it takes a while for the internet to react to a "de sky is falling" tread.

I remember reading about how "team" losi was rumored to be making non competition based vehicles, such as RTRs and monster trucks, now they have dropped the team part and have started to turn into traxxas. I'm worried about loosing parts support for my JRXS type R and I haven't even been able to run it yet! I knew something bad was going to happen to them when tower hobbies stopped carrying their stuff....

FYI- the guys at Traxxas are laughing at this thread. Trust me, we should all be so lucky to be "just" an RTR company like them. While they are out driving their Ferrari's and dining at Mortons , the rest of the industry is busy scrounging through the seats of a 1978 Impala to get enough change to buy a chilupa and some nachos. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
