Default Tire/ wheel diameter

Can anyone give me the diameter of the pre-mounted tires, and the bare wheels as well? My track is looking to figure a maximum Roll-Out and minimum diameter.

Thanks

Ok, I tried the flowing to get F1 back at WCRC:

1. Got in touch via e-mail and phone with Ron Schuur (on road director), had long conversations (won't bother you guys with the details) went' to meet him twice at the track, first time he was for it. The second time he just avoided me (not even a hello ).

2. Spoke directly with Danny (owner?) went to WCRC two or tree weeks ago, when they were remodeling, he said he wold call me to start again the series, I posted some of you guys favorable comments towards these end, suggested a format, PM him the format. To this day no reply.

What he did was that odd post in here inviting us to come practice with him and talk about it? Maybe some sort of you guys come and beg for it? Maybe not? Who knows except him?

I saw him again Wednesday at WCRC, just as Ron, I was not even acknowledge with a simple "hi". I guess these guys are just to busy ( at least for me )

Maybe someone else will have better results (perhaps it's my ugly Mexican-Scottish accent that they don't understand )

And that's my WCRC failed effort report for the F1 gang.
Sorry guys-itís disappointing.

Is there anyone amongst us that will be interested in participating on a small venture to open a track in the SFV (a real F1 home with an off road track to make some $) I may have the perfect location, in the middle of a beautifully park, already paved, close to the 101 and 405 ... PM me if this would be of interest to you.

Cheers,
Marcos

Hey guys, do the standard tamiya clamp hex hubs work on the f103? I want to use HPI wheels and rubber tires on my car, and Im wondering if those adapters will allow that.

I would not bother ordering many of the harder compound. Unless you are running on VERY hot asphalt, they just don't work.

Tire review here.

Default Tamiya Paint yellox Renault

I! Hello, what shade of color Tamiya spray paint does it take for a body of F 103 in the colors of Renault R30 latest version?

I have big doubts to choose.

At your ideas ....

Speaking of RIDE f1 tires, I picked up a set of the soft fronts and rears for my 103RM.

My car is pretty bare bones, it still has the stock "spring" (no shock).

I was running it with the stock foams for a while and it seemed fairly well setup. Now that ive swapped to rubber, it oversteers like crazy...I cant get power to the ground out of corners without 180-ing.

Im going to try some stuff, like doping only the reartires, loosening (?) the rear t-plate, conditioning the tires in a bag overnight, etc.

Any suggestions? Do the RIDE tires need a bit of breakin time before they hookup?

Different tires for all types of surfaces, what are you running on.
Do you have the RIDE A or B compound ?

Before the rug at our track had a good groove in it the RIDE A was perfect, now they oversteer, I heard some of the 103 clan were using Tamiya A with RIDE A front.
Problem is, Tamiya A type rubber for the 103 is no longer in production as far as I know.
