Those kit/preassembled tires are hooked up aren't they?!

About as good as you can get, looks like they are too much for your track?

Do you use sauce/traction additive?

Sauce the fronts? If so, tried without sauce on the front?

I never get away with saucing the fronts except for on carpet and even then it's only about 1/4 of the width that gets it.

If the tires aren't just right, setup won't usually fix it.
And if the tires are right, setup can be off a little and you can still drive it.
That's how I feel.

What surface are you running on ?
Ride Height Fr, Rr ?
Tire sauce type, how much sauce, how long do you leave it on?
Damper disc lube, how tight are the plates, how much thread is open on top?
Kit silver can ?
Tire Diameter ?

The 104 guys were traction rolling at our track (high grip carpet).
They put a bead of ca on the sidewall of the front tires and a small thin bead on the outer front edge of the tire (running surface). Worked like a champ.

So you guys run 540j's with 21 brushless?
What do you do about timing/boost?
Are the cars close in speed?
I would think a 21 brushless with a good esc would put the
smack down on a 540.

We have several new people joining us every month and I don't want any confusion regarding the power formula, so here it is for Feb. 21.

* Brushed Silver can. This is a great place to start, available to everyone and can be very competitive.
* BL 21.5. With a gentleman's agreement to not use a timing advance curve on your ESC if you have the option. End bell advancement should also be set to zero.
* Batteries are restricted to two cell 8.44v LiPo or 6 cell Nimh/NiCd.

If you want to run other power plant options please do not expect to be placed in the A mains or receive points at the events.

yes thatnk you this fixed my problem , we do this with the M chassis cars but i was unsure with foams , spoke with one of the more experienced F1 drivers and he looked at it changed the middle plate grease to a bit thicker , trimmed my tyres down and then superglued the sidewall

i can smeer full rear for 20 mins and half front for 10 mins and it drives perfectly till the battery goes flat !!!!

i run a 13.5 motor in it with an EzRun speedo and a lipo and it is quick and stable

Those are very high quality tires.
"Better" is more a matter of balance, what more do you want the car to do.
For carpet, I don't think there is a better tire on the 103.
Those tires also work at every track I have run at on all surfaces.

There are so many tires available for the F-103 one could get lost trying them all, a good problem to have, as we are so limited with the F-104 so far.

then in that case i will order a new set of those as the car is good on them

i have been given some new rubber tyres but not tried them just yet , and probably wont as it is soon time to got race outdoors and i wont use the F103 outdoors as i dont want to scratch the 15th Anniversary chassis plate
