Still searching for the 103 tires and compounds I need. Thanks Cuda for the info!! Found some 38 degree fronts and 30 degree rears in Hong Kong. Ordered a couple of sets to try. Going for the older 53128's for the front-- found some 53129's.
FYI

Allrighty then---found some wheels and tires at Gyro-- AND two packs of the Orion 4500mah lipos to run with!! These should get me enough run time to practice and qualify in that their running short qualifying sessions. I'm going to try and make the race this weekend--- just gotta hope one of my radios shows up!! AND I get time for working on this thing to clean it up and have it ready to run!!
Hope to CYA out there.
Tim
This Saturday practice and Sunday Racing at the Tamiya track Southern California... Ultimate F1 Series Day Race... Two classes... foam silver can Mabuchi 540 J motor ONLY, no RPM limit.... and rubber tire, 17.5 brushless ONLY...
Three Rounds of racing...
Each round will be a 2 min qualifying period, 5 cars max on the track, your looking for one fist lap to determine your grid order... 8 min race...
We will do this three times... points given to the top 8 finishers... the winner will be determined by points at the end of the day...
There are some high capacity lipos that fit with the pivot ball rear suspension. The Orion 4800's fit and I borrowed a 5000 at the TCS Finals that fit also, but I don't remeber the name on it, but it looked like the same case as the Orions..
