Hi guy, me again

A few question :

Is there a way to set up the front ground clearance ? The stock foam tire are now weak and the ground clearance goes from 6,5mm to 1,5mm and no way to up the car...

Another big question : what would be the best rubber tire, front and rear, for the F103 ? On a small, technical, dusty track, with a little motor (like 13.5)

Thanks in advance for your help !

Unfortunately there is no ride height adjustment in the front but if you shave down the steering block and use shims you might get up to 1mm of adjustment.

The Tamiya tires for the F103 were temperature sensitive...so if you drive in a warmer climate you would want the B tires and for the cooler climates the A tires. The aftermarket tires I really don't know.

For your foam tires - Tamiya tires are oversized 1/12th. Try some 1/10th foams and you can run them to the rims. Not sure if they will work with what you have. I've had some special made front and rear parts made so I can run both 1/12th or 1/10th foam tires. If you try to raising the front end by shaving some plastic off it does work good. As for the 13.5 that a big motor for this class. But that's just my opinion.Good Luck

Locally we run on a small bumpy dusty track with 17.5t,

I believe most of the guys run Pit Shimizu tyres, soft rear and Medium front, (some run soft fronts)

Thanks guys for the answers.

I think I'll try the shimizu tire, medium front, soft rear, on the Ride's wheels.

I have heard the Ride wheels are not too good and it is better to get the TRG,

No, none of them fit an f103. HPI stupidly decided on a 1/4" rear axle, so even the HPI differential for foam tyres won't fit any other F1 chassis. The only parts that will fit any Tamiya F103 or F104 are the HPI wheels for foam tyres.
