Default Help me set up an RS4 Rally for onroad

Hi,
I'm converting my RS4 rally into a pavement machine, what size shocks should I get and what are some good spring/oil setups? Thanks!

dux;

you will need the Shock towers from the Electric Sport and the 45-56mm Shocks. Other than that, it's just a matter of adjusting ride height, etc for On-road.
Visit the HPI website for some set-up advice for your specific Car.

You don't need the shock towers, just the shorter shocks. I had good results with my RS4 pro, unprepared asphalt, with 40 wt oil, #3 pistons, and blue pro linear springs all around. Red inserts are the best all around and some 27-33r's for summertime depending on your climate.

Thanks Savage, that'll get me started in the right direction.

Oh, and would you happen to know how to adjust rear toe out? Is it an A-arm replacement or a spacer thing or what?

To change the rear toe out you would need to buy different rear hubs (1/2 deg and 1 deg are available and only in aluminum) and replace the stock rear hubs.

Besides the shorter shocks, you'll also need springs in proper length.

I'm pretty sure the standard rear toe-in is 2 degrees. That should be fine for many circumstances.
