Best way to lay out an asphalt track?
What in your opinion is the best asphalt track setup you've seen? What barriers, corners, and related are the best way to setup an asphalt track and what is the best for cars?
What are the most car friendly but secure barriers?
Other than permenant curbs, grass burms that is. We're looking for input to help us make the best indoor on road track for this year's stock nationals. We have a layout that works, and it works well; but there is always room for improvement. Our track right now is a 4" PVC pipe system held in with concrete weight. It works; but it's a bit hard on cars.
Please post what you've seen, ideas, pictures or anything else that you know works.
