these are new on ebay and fit my price range and are all from futaba:
S148
S3003
S9304
I would like to know which one is best for bashing with a tamiya tl-01. I would like plenty of torque because I am reaching speeds around 40-45mph
just did all of the house choirs, now have $22.

now the only one left is the high torque servo or the 9304 in other words. is it any good?

as a cheap servo Ireally like the airtronics 94102, it s faster and torquier than a 3003 and has the same price but u should buy this kind of servo when they are new cos they have plastic gears which are wearing faster
if u have a tl01 u should consider buying a good servo saver, tamiya's stock is very sloppy .

2 things I can't get the 3003 any more and were can I get the servo saver?
#6
plus my reciever is futaba and so I want a futaba style connector.

now all airtronics servos have Z-connectors so u don't need to invert its wires if u have a futaba RX
u can order both servo and s-saver @ towerhobbies.com or at ur LHS if it carries Tamiya .You can also buy a Kimbrough servo saver

im a ko propo fan
i just got a servo a PS-2173 FET
it is fast
its not digital
i dunno if this is true but. when using a digital servo and you hit something hard does it mess the steering? you have to wait a couple seconds before it gets back
is this true

traxxasdude: While I'm sure everybody is quite enthralled by your quest for the $18, no sorry, $22 servo, I don't think this is really the place for it. Not only do these type of posts belong in the Rookie Forum (if that), they are not really adding any value to the forum or to others.
Regarding your last question, how hard is it to look up the information on the S9304 yourself? Check Futaba's website, check Tower Hobbies, heck, do a search for *9304 in this very forum -- you will probably get results.
I'm not trying to be harsh towards you, but man, this is getting ridiculous. You got to do a bit of your own legwork, and if you are asking newbie questions -- which we are more than happy to answer -- please post them in the appropriate forum.
Heck, we don't want you to start sounding like R C king!
Thanks.

Why I can't research it is because the website for srevos isn't working for me and so I wondered if anybody here would know if it was any good.
Should I start another thread in the rookie zone?

Most of us don't mind helping someone out, but there comes a point where you have to do some thinking of your own.
Try putting a little effort (Thought) into your problems and maybe you can figure out alot of them yourself, without having Guys like me Tease you.

If futaba's website isn't working for you, go to tower, 3 important things to look at, servo speed, torque, and price. Tower has the specs of all the servos. If a search on tower for your servo doesnt come up with results, seach for "futaba servo." I once had problems when searching for hs-605bb, but when i searched for hitec servos, and looked around a little, i found what i was looking for.

Servocity has some hitec ones that are around .15 secs and 55 ounces of torque for like 11.95 bucks shipped.
